Chile explores with Whole Foods Market new possibilities for natural and organic products

Due to an initiative launched by the Mid Atlantic Regional Office of Whole Foods Market, Chile was invited to present a showcase of Chilean organic and natural products that could be of interest to this important supermarket chain, the world's leading retailer of natural and organic food.

With the participation of more than 20 Chilean companies, this exhibition was held on September 22, 2006 and included a variety of products such as wine, seafood, meat, cheese, cosmetics, exotic and preserved fruits.

This initiative would allow an increase in the availability of Chilean products in the Mid Atlantic area. We are certain that this effort will provide new possibilities for American consumers to have access to new and high quality products from Chile.

Whole Foods Market, which counts with 187 stores in North America and the United Kingdom, obtains its products from all over the world, often from small and unique companies that maintain traditions and original flavors. They strive to offer the highest quality, least processed, most flavorful and naturally preserved foods.

Chile is strongly committed to organic and natural food production. For this purpose, Chile is interested in developing a mutually beneficial relationship with Whole Foods in order to promote Chilean products and offer high quality natural and organic products to American consumers.
